This coextrusion microplant produces:
- monofilaments with 2 components
- non calibrated 2-layers tubes in soft material
- monolayer tubes with one or more lines (for example radiopaque lines) with outer Ø from some tenths up to 4 mm.
The production of the plant provided with 2 microextruders, either Ø12, Ø14 or Ø 18 mm, may change form a minimum of 200 gr/hour up to nearly 8 kg/hour.
This coextrusion line is particularly used in laboratories of research and/or for medical and pharmaceutical applications (for example catheters, and micro capsulated drugs).
The plant showed in the photo, of quite reduced dimensions, is composed from 2 microextruders Ø 14mm with control cabinets, one coextrusion head, one cooling tank and one haul-off.
The plant can be completed with a supervision system and a diameter control gauge.
NOTA: On request we can supply a PC system to time the production in meters, waste of material, prices of raw material, selling price of material, profit, etc.
