Automatised Micro plant for tubes up to 3 layers



GIMAC has realised a new co-extrusion micro-plant, less than 3 mt long, for production of small calibrated tubes with OD ranging from 0,4 to 4mm, made of rigid and soft materials, with output from 0,1 up to around 4,5 Kgs/hour.

This plant has been realised mainly for the medical and pharmaceutical industries suitable for the production of tubes up to 3 layers, tube with radio opaque stripes, etc.

The plant is equipped with PLC for the management and 1 operator panel with touch screen for the supervision, and includes the following parts:
· 3 micro-extruders Ø12/20D with 1,1 KW A.C. motor fitted with encoder feedback and controlled by vectorial inverter. Max. screw rpm 100.
· 1 head for tubes up to 3 layers.
· 1 vacuum calibrating unit with cooling unit and water re-circulation tank positioned under the table support.
· 1 laser gauge for diameter control.
· 1 haul-off 250x25 with 1,1 KW A.C. motor fitted with encoder feedback and controlled by vectorial inverter, max. haul-off speed 84mt/min.
· 1 control cabinet for the complete plant positioned under the table support (not in the picture).

The machines that compose the plant can be delivered with the table support or in single groups but anyway with control cabinet and water re-circulation tank for the calibration unit.
